Marlon is an anionic surfactant based on linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS), one of the most widely used surfactant ingredients in household detergents and industrial applications. Offering excellent detergency, wetting, emulsifying, and foaming properties at low cost, Marlon grades are used in laundry detergents, hard-surface and toilet cleaners, industrial and institutional cleaning, and numerous industrial applications (textile, agrochemicals, emulsion polymerization). The range covers LAS acid, sodium LAS salts in liquid and paste form with different active contents, water-free LAS salts (e.g., MIPA), and LAS powder, all easily biodegradable . Marlon products are anionic sulfonates, providing high foaming and strong detersive power especially in alkaline and built formulations.
