PIB-PEO

PIB-PEO, Polyisobutylen-Polyethylenoxid, is a well known class of diblockcopolymer and used in academia to yield mesoporous templated materials such as In₂O₃^[1] and TiO₂^[2].

The current polymer PIB₄₀PEO₄₁ (45 wt% EO) and PIB₄₀PEO₉₃ (65 wt% EO) can be used to obtain highly ordered metal oxides. Nano Cats produced mesoporous templated CuO with very high pore ordering and a pore size of d_pore = ~20nm.
